CODE OF DOMESTIC ORDER

  1. Participating in “Ursel Military History Show - Wings and Wheels 2010” is only possible after payment of the fee and receipt of the entry form. Payment must be made in full by 26 July 2010. Reserved pitches that are not paid on 26 July 2010 are passed on to other (last-minute) candidates.
  2. The organizers have the right to refuse any subscription and this without statement of motive.
  3. Attendance cards and wristbands: are obligatory for ALL participants and can be collected on arrival in the office. Opening hours offices:
    Friday 6 August 2010 from 9 am till 10 pm;
    Saturday 7 August 2010 from 6 am till 6 pm;
    Sunday 8 August 2010 from 6 am till 5 pm.
    Outside the opening hours of the office no participants will be allowed on site without a valid attendance card and wristband.
    Extra wristbands are there available at 15 Euro per adult.
  4. Arrival:
    ALL participants may start arriving as of Friday 6 August 2010 at
    9 am.
    ALL participants should have left the showground at the latest by Sunday 8 August 2010 at 10 pm.
  5. Militaria fair:
    Please note that all pitch allocations will be reserved for repeat booking until 25th April 2010. Thereafter pitches will be allocated as available.
    All pitches have a width of 3 metres (sales side) and a depth of 16 metres:
    - 3 metres x 6 metres on concrete, acting as sales pitch;
    - 3 metres x 10 metres on the grass behind the sales pitch, only to put a sleeping tent.
    A vehicle can be placed inside the sales pitch, but not on the grass.
    Vehicles that are not placed in the stall must be placed on the (free) parking for the stallholders.
    The price per pitch is 50 Euro and applies of course for the entire period. Per booked stall, there is free admission for 2 adults. Free admission for all kids -12 years.
    Entries received after 26 July 2010 will be subject to a 35 Euro surcharge (no exceptions). A basic 3 metre pitch will cost 85 Euro instead of 50 Euro.

Participants may set up their sales pitch on
Friday 6 August 2010 from 9 am till 10 pm and on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August 2010 from 6 am till 8 am.
Stalls which are not taken at
8 am on 7 and 8 August 2010 could be passed on to (last-minute) candidate stallholders and this without a refund of the already paid stall fee.
Clearing your stall is only permitted on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August 2010 between 6 am and
8 am and between 5 pm and 10 pm.
Only militaria, military vehicles and their parts are considered for this fair.
Stallholders are to abide by the current Belgian legislation concerning the displaying and selling of weapons and inert ammunition. The stallholders are to be able to submit their licence as arms manufacturer and/or collector.
Extract from the Belgian Law regarding fire arms (9 June 2006): Only the sale, exchange, display of arms on free sale is allowed and this only by manufacturers and or collectors holder of an approval to sell these. For the NON BELGIAN exhibitors, the professional arms manufacturers are only authorized to expose this type of weapons. Are also prohibited: ammunition in operating condition, casings and projectiles, unless they were made inapt for shooting. Weapons on free sale in Belgium: weapons neutralized by Banc d’épreuve de Ličge, some old firearms, using exclusively cartridges with blasting powder and built-in starting who’s model or patent is former to 1890 and manufacture is former to 1945, old weapons charged by the breech, exclusively with cartridges with blasting powder or cartridges with blasting powder with separated priming, some firearms of historical interest, using ammunition with gunpowder, defined by the King, the factitious weapons, alarm pistols (BEL stamp), flare pistols (if impossible of drawing a cartridge with gas or ball).

All the Belgium stallholders who have a license as arms collector or arms dealer have to mail the organization their license number. The original license or an identical copy this license has to be present at the fair.
It is also prohibited to sell, exchange or display any item that could lead to racial politics or xenophobia. Every stallholder must comply with the Belgian legislation and in particular the fiscal regulations. Nor the organizers, nor their co-workers can be held responsible if stallholders would appear not in order in case of an eventual control.
ANY COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY OUTSIDE THE ASSIGNED “FAIR” ZONE IS PROHIBITED.

  1. Vehicle static show:
    All vehicle pitches have a width of 4 metres (public side) and a depth of 20 metres:
    - 4 metres x 10 metres on concrete, acting as pitch for one vehicle;
    - 4 metres x 10 metres on the grass behind the sales pitch, ONLY to put a sleeping tent.
    A vehicle cannot be placed on the grass.
    The price per vehicle is 10 Euro and applies of course for the entire period. Per vehicle entry, there is free admission for 2 adults. Free admission for all kids -12 years.
    Reserved vehicle pitches that are not paid on 26 July 2010 will be subject to a 5 Euro surcharge (no exceptions). A basic 4 metre pitch will cost 15 Euro instead of 10 Euro.
    Owners with their vehicle(s) leaving the show on Sunday after 4 pm, can be reimbursed on certain conditions for the entry fee in the office, in exchange for their attendance card.

a.       Vehicle pitch 10 Euro → refund when:

i.         Vehicles with a manufacture date < 1946 or

ii.       armoured cars or

iii.      tanks and

iv.     Leave after 4 pm on 8 August

b.      Vehicle pitch 10 Euro → no refund possible:

i.         Vehicles with a manufacture date ≥ 1946

c.       Vehicle pitch 15 Euro → no refund possible:

i.         All vehicles registered after 26 July

Setting up vehicle pitch is only possible during the opening hours of and after reporting to the office participants vehicle static show and re-enactment.
Military trailers can be parked on the grass. Brightly coloured tents and caravans are not allowed. Civilian vehicles shall not be admitted to the “wheels” zone, apart from organizers and emergency services.
Tanks and tracked vehicles are assigned a separate area. (Un)Loading tanks and tracked vehicles is only allowed in the “track” zone. After, the civilian trucks are to apply at the support parking.
All support vehicles must be placed on the support parking.

  1. Re-enactment:
    Entering a group into the re-enactment show is free.
    All camp display areas have a depth of 10 metres on the grass behind the vehicle(s).
    All vehicle pitches have a width of 4 metres (public side) and a depth of 10 metres on concrete, acting as pitch for 1 vehicle.
    A vehicle cannot be placed on the grass.
    The price per vehicle is 10 Euro and applies of course for the entire period.

  1. Environmental protection: digging, breaking branches, damaging trees et cetera is prohibited.
    ALL vehicles ALWAYS have to stay on the concrete, NEVER on the grass. (No parts hanging over the grass.)
    Every participant should keep his pitch/campsite nice and clean. Refuse bags will be distributed on arrival.
    Ursel is an active airfield; litter can cause accidents with possible fatal consequences. Participants are expected to help maintain the ground in a clean and tidy condition and their rubbish should be placed in the garbage cans on site.
  2. Liability: nor the organizers, nor their co-workers can be held responsible for theft, loss of or damage to the stalls or its contents and/or the vehicles and planes on display. They can also not be held responsible for accidents or for any personal injury sustained on the showground and this during the full period from 2 until 9 August 2010.
    All damage caused by a participant or a visitor shall be repaired at his expense.
  3. Generators: are allowed, if fitted with a solid earthing, if placed on a non-penetrable surface a maximum of 10 metres from the concrete border and if they cause no inconvenience to the environment or other participants.
  4. Gas cylinders: are allowed, if fitted with a pressure regulator and the necessary couplings. Gas cylinders should be handled with great caution. Never put them in the direct sun.
  5. Fire extinguishers: ALL participants must have a valid and inspected fire extinguisher on the spot. A participant is liable for all damage caused by a fire.
  6. Vehicle movement: no movement of motorized vehicles is permitted in the “fair” zone between 9 am and 5 pm and all traffic is at all times prohibited in the “catering” zone, apart from organizers and emergency services. In the “wheels” zone, movement of historical military vehicles is permitted but not advised. In particular, movement of vehicles weighing more than 1 ton has to be kept to an absolute minimum. Exception: participants to the organized tours. Each moving vehicle weighing more than 3.5 ton has to be preceded on foot by a steward of the organization. In order to insure the visitors’ safety, ALL moving vehicles are to switch on their headlights and indicators. ALL vehicle movement is on the driver’s responsibility. The driver should have a valid driver’s license for the vehicle he is driving. A 5 km/hour. speed limit is applied within the showground. Movement of motorized vehicles between the “wheels” zone and the “fair” zone is forbidden.
    ALL movement of motorized vehicles is prohibited between 10 pm and 6 am, apart from organizers and emergency services.
    No (re)fuelling of vehicles to be carried out on the showground.

    We cannot tolerate reckless nor maladjusted driving.
    Drivers must have a valid driving licence for the vehicle they are driving.
  7. Uniforms: Only members of “Frontleven” have permission, to wear German war uniforms. These re-enactors are required to stay in their display zone and not to wander off to other zones, at least not in the uniforms with the German identifying marks. “Frontleven” is the only group that has permission to participate to “Ursel Military History Show - Wings and Wheels 2010”, wearing German uniforms. Others will receive no permission. “Frontleven” is absolutely not engaged in right-wing ideas and ideologies and condemns all forms of anti-Semitism, fascism and racism.
  8. Minors: Minors will only be admitted to the event when accompanied by an adult. It is forbidden to sell (parts of) arms and knifes to minors.
  9. KIDZ-club: the KIDZ-club is not a crčche. An adult should accompany kids at all times.
  10. Dogs: are allowed, if always kept on a leash and if they cause no inconvenience to co-participants and/or -visitors.
  11. Fire safety: making open fires (such as fire baskets) is strictly prohibited.
  12. In case of failure to have the show due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ control, registered participants will not be able to claim any compensation.
  13. ALL participants and their assistant/co-driver should abide by this code of domestic order. In case of an unforeseen situation, they are to obey instructions of the organization and security personnel. In case of a dispute, the participant and his assistant/co-driver will accept the final decision of the organization. Not abiding by this code of domestic order could lead to removal from the showground without the right to any indemnification. In case of a difference, the Dutch code of domestic order applies.
  14. Weapons: Weapons, in accordance with the current Belgian legislation, can only be carried around in the “wheels” zone and in the “re-enactment” zone. These weapons must have been neutralized, in accordance with the current Belgian legislation.
  15. Ammunition: Firing simulation ammunition is only possible provided that the group has a written permission from the organisation and provided that they can submit a signed safety briefing.
    Firing pyrotechnical ammunition (for example flares and fireworks) is forbidden and leads to removal from the showground without the right to any indemnification.
Drugs: The use, possession, distribution of and / or trafficking in both soft and hard drugs on site is strictly prohibited. In case of violation the organization will remove the offender of the site. In the case of hard drugs the police will also be cal
